THE ARTIST

Art has been a constant thread in my life… encouraged early, nurtured often, and instinctively pursued for as long as I can remember. I studied Art at Florida State University, and shortly after graduating, began painting. While spending nearly a decade in New York City working in advertising and design, I continued to develop my fine art practice.

My work is deeply personal, reflecting the rhythm and richness of everyday life: joyful, compelling people, the energy of travel and discovery, and the quiet beauty found in coastal landscapes. I’m continually drawn to the sea… the layered blues and greens, the shifting light on sand and water, the textures of nature and the life within it. I find inspiration in the world as seen through my children’s eyes, their imagination, their sense of wonder, their uninhibited creativity. These influences come together in paintings that aim to capture a feeling as much as a place. Moments that are vibrant, thoughtful, and alive.

I live in Tallahassee, Florida with my husband, Will, our three children—Wyatt, Chloë, and Henry—and our dog, Ralph. I’m endlessly grateful for their support, and for the gift of creativity that continues to shape my life and work.

Lello Co. is named after my daughter, Chloë, who once charmingly called yellow “Lello”… a small moment that became something lasting.

CURRENT WORK

Gulls, palms, oysters, fish, coastal abstracts and more. This collection is a study in the quiet poetry of Florida’s shoreline. A gull gliding overhead, the sculptural elegance of palms, spoonbills in flight, the understated beauty of oyster beds… each subject is an invitation to pause and notice. Rooted in observation and guided by a love for the details often overlooked, the collection continues to evolve… always seeking, always finding beauty in the details around us.
